It all started with their first step

Seriously Simple Steps has helped many people get started on their weightloss journey.

I have tried on numerous attempts to lose weight to find initial success and then time in and time out would return back to my old weight and often adding another several pounds.  Emotional highs and lows when I thought I had mastered it.

Fortunately Matt Kulka asked me if I would be interested in participating in a new “healthy living” program that he had designed called  Seriously Simple Simple Steps. I agreed, and am grateful that Matt reached out to me.

Through this program I learned about simple daily on-going improvements that were easy to implement and established an educational foundation that built upon each previous step. Each step that was completed was completely supported along my journey. As I continued to work on my overall health – including both physical and mental energy was improving and I’ve gained the knowledge to make adjustments along the way. This is not a diet program for quick loss diet fans. This is an engaged educational program that reinforces healthy choices that will help you all along the way.

My results have been great! I’ve been able to maintain a healthy weight while dropping several sizes in my wardrobe and increasing my energy. I feel better and many have asked me how I was able to improve my health. I tell them it’s a willingness to learn and a willingness to make simple changes was the key then – and still is the key today.

When Starting my first step the program provided a green rubber bracelet that I have not taken off to this day. Written on the bracelet is a quote “ A journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step”. For those that have doubts about your ability to improve you health and lifestyle- you can do it, a simple step and a simple program that I will continue to benefit from. One simple step at a time.

I highly recommend to anyone that wishes to improve their overall well being and to learn about nutrition, fitness, and overall well-being to sign up for Matt’s program. I’m glad I did and know that you will not regret it.

“I am a 57 year old female who has been with Dr. Kulka since 2004.  Over the years, Dr. Kulka has always put my best interests first.  At the end of 2019, I wasn’t feeling well.  I was putting on weight, my blood pressure was increasing, and my cholesterol levels kept going up.  I was also extremely tired and lethargic. 

I had bloodwork done and it showed that I had a thyroid condition called Graves Disease.  I had heard that Dr. Kulka was doing this new innovative weight loss program which really focused on your way of life and developing a healthily lifestyle.  Since I was putting on weight and feeling horrible, I made the decision to take part in Dr. Kulka’s program.

The program was wonderful!  The information shared by Dr. Kulka not only helps you lose weight, but also gives you information for an overall healthier lifestyle.  The program is laid out so that you see Dr. Kulka for eight weeks, and during each week, you cover a different topic or “step.”  At each step, Dr. Kulka gives you a handout on that session’s particular topic.  For example, Step 1 is an overview on Time Restricted Eating.  He also recommends that you download an app on your phone so you can log your daily food intake.  This helps you learn how to incorporate a healthy lifestyle successfully in future steps.  Other steps include learning about different carbohydrates and the truth about fats.  As you discuss each step, Dr. Kulka pulls up examples from his computer and reviews them with you.  

As I mentioned, this program is terrific!  Dr. Kulka has been a wonderful coach and guide, and it has changed my way of thinking and the kinds of choices that I make for myself and my family.  I would highly recommend this program to all!!!”

I wanted to make some lifestyle changes and then I heard about Seriously Simple Steps and decided to give it a try. I found that the program is very easy to follow as well as informative. After watching just the first video, I learned about restrictive eating and how I should eat my bigger meals during the day & that tracking your food is a good idea. It helps you realize the food you are eating. It also helps you make better decisions. This step alone was eye opening for me and has made a huge impact.

I recommend that you try the program and follow what Dr Kulka has to say. He has done a lot of research and has great advice. Thanks to this program I’m currently down 31 lbs and have a lot more energy.

My health has improved since following Dr.Kulka’s recommendations. I’ve lost 45lbs in the span of a year and a half. Slow progress but definite progress and it’s staying off. I’ve followed 2 of Dr. Kulka’s recommendations religiously and these are what I attribute my success to. I have also cut down the amount of animal protein I eat. I have not become vegetarian or vegan but I do rely more heavily on complex carbohydrates. I’m eating many more vegetables and fruits and enjoying them greatly. Now, if only I could get myself to the pool I think I’d make more progress.

Besides the weight my health has improved dramatically. My A1C is the lowest so far and all markers were within range. That’s a pretty good outcome and besides that I feel really good. I have a lot of respect for Dr. Kulka and his strong interest in nutrition. The saying “you are what you eat” really is accurate.
